Hi,
The game was running ok. Then I have installed the 1.02 craked patch (only cracked so that is does not checks your serial numbre) and the full english mod 0.9 for this version. The game runs under daemon tools and the special MDS file, start every time.
Right after the patch aim seemed to be messed up, bullets flew in random directions making it impossible to hit anything. Quite frustrating for an FPS game. After some search I found this answer on an official forum :

Is it possible that the game is detecting I have a copy and still is letting me play? Is this a new protection from the 1.02 patch? Or is this just a bug? Is there a way around?

Thank you for your help, but I wonder what is triggering the protection as starforce recognises the disk image a legitimate. Could this be the CD key that is already banned and FADE checks this? Was FADE prat of the protection or only included with the patch?
I suppose everybody will get this protection a moment or an other? So I suppose some solution is neded.
Any idea of a way around? Would a reinstall without the patch help or does the game adds some lines to your registry? Is there any way to beat this thing?

yes its FADE. It was activated in 1.02 I think and you're screwed if you have a banned cd-key...

In the old days of Opflash the Fade problems would only happen when you played online with the same CD key as someone on the server.

The 1.02 patch seems to trigger FADE without any online checks. Perhaps the generic serial from the NFO.
Still wonder if there is a way around or if a clean reinstall of the original game would help.
