hi.. i bought an western digital 250 sata.

And when i formated my pc for a reason all the stuff dissapeared from the disk Sad How can that be ?! i haden't touched the disk with format or anything Sad

Could you clarify that a little more. Don't think I really understand what you mean. You formatted your computer I presume another disk (windows drive) and all the data on the new disk disappeared? Or did you format the new drive and all the data on the Windows disk disappeared?

i formated an ide hard disk.. 120 gb and the stuff on my 250 sata drive dissapeared.

so you are saying that you formated only one drive and all the hd's on the system effected by the format?...
its real strange..i guess its something with the slave master thing...try to change the master slave switch.

Somehow i think he bought the new WD250 SATA, put it in, formatted the 120gb one and the WD250 was empty. If i guessed that right then the WD250 cant be full cos you havent even formatted it yet let alone put something on it.

If that aint right...english please! Wink

That's exactly how it was just that i had many things on the sata drive

Well if you havent put alot of crap on it again you can try and recover it by using one of the billion apps ment to do that, like GetDataBack etc. If not, your pretty much screwed.
