Well this is the "demo" discussion... There are plenty of examples of demo threads...

Its a nice RTS twist but its odd what kind of missed shots the terrorists and your players will do and the AI is stupid...it never does any of the basic tactics, just sits there and shoots at you when they see you from the front.....

you're supposed to be telling the squad what to do (ie. setting their line of sight while they're advancing so they can see thing beside/behind).

You were probably using suppressive fire.

And if the enemy is behind "cover" you will never hit them.

You'll need a second squad to wheel around the side or back to finish them off.

I think what he meant was that the enemy AI never uses any tactics. It just sits behind cover and shoots at you over and over again, and it never tries to outflank you or anything. At least that's the impression i got from the demo, maybe it's different in the full game.

yea, most games are like that. i.e they dont have any formations at all, and they just appear to be people willing to die in battle whereas the team yor on has feelings etc. i certainly got this from COD UO and many more games. thats why CS is so fun because ppl actually cherish their lives or have to wait for so long Smile.

Well the enemy is not trained in such things. Wink

You're the World's finest, they are a rabble of fools hiding in a town. Plus they are defensive. I think it is well represented.

They like trying to hide and ambush, not run around too much.

It's a mix between commanding them with the tutorials and the troops themselves having AI modeled after real military tactics.

Makes sense to me.

I can't even install it, damn thing needs freespace on my C (system) drive but I use my D drive for installations and everything. I hate programs like this which dictate to you what you can and can't do.

gah.

Anyway around this?

ispep, many games/programs needs free space on the system disk (often c).
its not the same as space for installation.
it says this because to ensure stability you shuld always have some free space for 100% stability.

i have personally never had this problem because i always have a few hundred megs free and never lower Smile
