they ship internationally too Wink

Quote:
International Shipping Methods
Through DHL, we quickly ship international orders just about anywhere in the world for very reasonable rates. Frys.com ships product internationally via DHL 48-72 hours plus additional time for local customs clearance. DHL shipments weighing more than 70 lbs. will ship as freight and not express. The service commitment is usually 3-4 business days longer than express. Unfortunately, we cannot ship international orders via U.S. Mail. Delivery time depends on product availability and shipping address. Orders shipped to an address different from the billing address will be delayed for verification (usually one extra day).

Ditto. I've only had problems with Maxtor & IBM, and never with Seagate or Western Digital.

It had tech problems alright. It was in the paper that a guy had saved for years before they came out and got one when they were first released. Cornered and something happened to the suspension. He was killed, his girlfriend lost her legs.

We got 2500 clients at work. I Mostly change maxtor and seagate HDDs.
Not just one kind/size. We have a bunch of fuxx0red maxtors, only a few Western Digital.
But of course, only 5-10% of our clients have heard about defagmenting.. Razz

Also funny with people I have to drive to, and just to take the USB in and out. And they say... "its the psychic support" eh.. wtf.

Oh lets all jump on the Maxtor hate band wagon. Well I can honestly say that i think only a few of you have experienced problems like you're saying. I've had many many Maxtors and as I've said before in the past, I've lost two 30gb ones due to an electricity spike. I've got four in the gaming pc. One 300gb in my Xbox, another the same size in my PS2. A couple in my work machine. All I've ever used is Maxtors. The only reason I get rid of them is when they become out dated and too small for my current needs. I've build machines for lots of people all without problems and the majority, well not quite majority but about 40% are built with Maxtors. I've chipped about ohh 25 to 30 Xbox's and all have used Maxtors. Not one returned yet.

So please stop talking shit when you're slagging them off as my own experiences show that theres bugger all wrong with them.
