OK, so I fucked up my AC adapter for my laptop... (Toshiba Satellite A70)

here are the specs for battery and adapter:
Quote:
AC Adapter
* 120W external Universal AC adaptor input voltage (100 – 240V 50/60Hz Frequency (Universal), output voltage (19V, 6.3A)

Battery
* Battery Type: Removable, Rechargeable 8-cell Lithium Ion (Li-ion) 14.8V x 4300mAh capacity.

I want to buy this 'universal adapter' (it's cheap and relatively close to where I live)
http://www.canadianpc.com/productdetail.asp?StockNo=2285

which says it is

Quote:
APS AC/DC Universal Laptop Adapter, Output DC 15V, 16V, 18V, 19V, 20V at 4.5A, 22V & 24V at 3.5A, SP1

so instead of 19V, 6.3A it is 19V, 4.5A ... is this going to work alright with my laptop? I know a whole lot of fuckall when it comes to volts and amps and all that bullshit Razz

Well, you can try, but there is a chance you'll burn out your new adapter, because it can't supply enough power. It will not damage your laptop.
