if someone attempts to DDoS a site it means they dont necessarily do it,
attempt = try
example: "i attempted to DDoS norad last night, but my botnet just wasnt big enuff"

But if they didnt do it, it means the site woulndt have given any error, thats why i am confused.

they half did it so it gave half an error, no?

i know it wasnt but u know, too many connections suggests to me somethings up with the db, anyway its stopped now, so it was something on nforces end

But first you say they attempt to do it, and they did not do it after all. Now you say they half do it.
What you are saying doesnt really make sence. Do you even know how a ddos works?

so why was that happening anyways? I could barely connect yesterday, but seems fine today.

But your comments are stupid, even if there was a ddos atack, it would load slower, and it didnt.
