it's an american remake of the korean film infernal affairs, which was awesome
there's two sequels for it aswell
haven't seen this one yet though

Well, I can't say the same about Departed. Nicholson is godike but the rest is just... ok.

I haven't actually seen it yet (well, seen the chinese version), but remake or not, Scorsese and a load of great actors is enough for me to know that the movie is not "Utter crap".  |

I saw it coming from a fucking mile off. The film was was GOOD, but far from GREAT or even encroaching on a classic like Goodfellas. I can't believe how much hype this film is getting and if Scorcese gets anywhere near a fucking academy award for this then there is no god.
Give it for his best work or just leave him the fuck alone please.
Jesus christ, I was expecting a classic and what we have here is a story told countless times before and it doesn't even have an angle.
what. the. fuck.
Still it's a good film I'm just disappointed by the hype

you must have gotten the dvdscr/tc ... the sound is fucked for the last 15 minutes, with two different audio sources playing at the same time (one track is several minutes ahead of the other).
