Checked the cd image to see what was on and there's a two disc amiga emulator image and a 350 MB making of video together with the 35 MB game installer and a few documents and sounds that the game probably uses and ofcourse the cracked exe file.

Game itself is 160 MB when installed.

EDIT: Default language is german but you can select nearly any language during install but the making of video lacks other subtitles aside from the default german ones and will as such have both german audio and text.

EDIT2: Damn this game is hard, killed in every screen so far due to the slow speed of the player character. (Currently trying to outrun some fat dog/wolf hybrid not to mention the slugdes and tentacles everywhere)

I was wondering what what up, since the nfo made no mention of a crack or the like, but listed tages as protection

Flashback wasnt the sequel. Heart of the Alien was, and it was segacd only.

I'm currently at what I would call the water pussle and here's a few screens.

Water basin blocking way above, needs to be fixed forcefully.

Charging "laser".
(Works as a shield if fired now)

Fully charged.
(Blasts anything, including shields)

Too slow, try again... Sad

(It's like this in every single screen, can't stop killing myself. )

EDIT: Jumping around like a idiot down here.

the 3DO version is still the best version possible. this "remake" lacks music throughout the game and the 3DO version has better backgrounds.

I dont know... I started to play and i stopped. It was fun 15 years ago...but today... no. And its not just about old graphics, the gameplay is just soo basic and primitive for me...just press the right key at the right moment or die and do it again.
No, thanx Smile

Thanks for the screens! Not quite the visual update I was expecting I must admit but if it works without emulation software I will certainly play it just for the memories!

There's a 1.1c that's the newest afaik, so get that. The hatred version is some kind of german cd, so if you don't know german (or french, the video's in french), don't get it.
