It just means it'll take ages to arrive by which time not many people will give a shit. Look at Resident Evil 4 and the Halo ports as examples.
Exclusive really means that if you want to experience the game how it was intended then you get it for whatever platform it's "exclusive" for.

Well imo Bioware did a great job with SW KOTOR (1) on the pc aswell as on xbox.

Was that exclusive for the Xbox when it was originally released?

Yep
Much like when Metal Gear Solid was supposed to be exclusive for the PS1 or Resident Evil 4 exclusive for the GameCube and there are many other exemples.
It's a bunch of crap although it could be true about Mass Effect.I just don't buy the X title will be exclusive to X platform line anymore. |

ya, doesn't seem like the PC gets any exclusives anymore, CnC is going to consoles, Crysis was said to come to PS3 it's quite bs, we either get a game that goes console or we get ports

not for long. Wait a year and vista will show its true potential. As it stands atm you have a new operating system running mostly on beta drivers on first gen dx10 hardware, with no dx10 games (until certain games are patched that is) its the curse of the early adopter. The thing about dx10 is it drops all legacy support so its faster more efficient and the development tools for devs are constantly improved. A year in when games like crysis are finally unleashed and hardware prices drop to make multi core cpu's the absolute bottom line vista will start to come into its own. Remember people said xp was complete shit for games when it first released. Its not amazing but it works and we've all enjoyed some great games on xp. Vista was built with gaming in mind so microsoft could expand their xbox live service to the PC market. We'll hopefully see more gamesd with shorter development cycles thanks to the very stringant dx10 requirements.

Yeah, let time pass, and PC will take it's place back as the gaming leader. It was the same in 2001/2002 when "next-gen" consoles hit the market and were so powerful, PC couldn't handle the games...  With DX10 around the corner, it shouldn't take that long.

I hated XP and refused to upgrade from 98, but then I had just about enough of the blue screen of death and went to XP Pro, best damn OS I've ever used. I used to hate M$ before XP.

It'll never happen. The PC hasn't been the 'gaming leader' for years now. Revenue from console games sales is 10 times that of PC games sales. Thats why there are so many ports nowadays, developers know where the money is.
I expect the PC will maintain a niche games market indefinitely. Look forward to all the crap MMORPG's that are coming out in the future too, it's one of the only ways developers can ensure good returns even if the game is mediocre.
