Hi guys i fort id post here for some help cos u guys seem to know wot ur talkin about.
Well here my problem i got a new gfx card back in may(i fink) i got the
Point of View Nvidia 6800xt,
My friend got the exact same as me at the same time and i install it on his pc too.
everything was fine for a couple of week an then i started gettin glitches i asked my friend if he had the same problem but he didnt his was running fine, so i came to the conclusion that it must be the temp in my case and the temp of the card so i saved up and recently got a cooler case with more fans and i change the fan on the gpu to the ZALMAN VF900-CU, i fort it had fixed it but im still gettin the same old shit this is wot it looks like.

it gets worse the more i play and thats y i fort it was its temp.

any ideas guys thanks.

ps, its not just css either ive play loadsa games all with the same results.

It's either a damaged card, or it's overheating. Power down your system for an hour or so. Start up the system once it's cooled down and start the game. If the glitches start as soon as the game boots up I reckon it's a damaged card.
I had a 9600 a few years back and that was the same type of glitches I was getting.

Looks pretty much the same as >> this <<

That was my 6600 GT overheating because the fan clogged up and wasn't spinning.

I doubt its hardware damage...

most likely corrupted drivers, dx dlls or something like that.

Like everyone else said, your getting artifacts from heat, driver corruption, or a on the verge of death card.

You know how to fix all 3, Boom!

Oh yeah I forgot to mention, Do you have any idea how many 6800 series of cards, especially the "ZOMG I'M GONNA UNLOCK ZEE PIPES" models like the NU, LE, XT i've heard of or seen go bad showing symptoms just like yours.

It's ridiculous.

looks like bad memory... I dont think the gpu is broken - the mem chips are.
Try to decrease the memorie clock on the card - if this wont help... well - its dead
