How fucking hard is it to use flasher out of the roundabout... people in Norway is such lazy mofos. Seems like most road-users think most about themselfs. If it dosn't help them, its not worth to do it.

I live in the south east of Norway. They say people are better up in the north and in the and some places in the south. But anyway, so many people don't give a shit. Same problem other places?

I have to drive around PC's/printers to clients so i drive a lot in the city.. makes me sick to see all these ignorant people in the traffic everyday.

We have the same issues here. Everyone doesnt give a shit about anyone else on the road. Like, what is the fucking point of signalling at the very last minute. Its doesnt help anyone, just keeps you from getting a ticket. It drives me fucking nuts. You signal before the fucking turn, to allow other drivers, to actually have a clue on where you are going. The worst is when your waiting at a t intersection, trying to go left, and the fuckers coming from the left dont signal there turn, if they did, you could easily turn, but oh nooo, that fucking signal lever is to much of a chore to lift.

I like how they drive in australia, very aggresive, but everyone also knows how to drive, and you get to where you are going. Put on your signal, its like a stop sign, people let you in. Here in Calgary, put your signal on, people speed up to fuck you over.

Thank god i drive a full sized truck, not to many morrons with 325i (aka wannabe BMWs) fuck with me when i just start coming over.

I think the mini-roundabouts are necessary, so that traffic can travel in both directions in the outer circle Wink

OMg those are some fucked up round abouts. We have them too here but usually on the side streets. I don't quite get the ones by my house. There are 2 yield signs on one. One for me and there is one coming in from the right so really, who should yield? I just yield to them because they are probably stoned, high or drunk or nuts ( Like the road rage guy who kicked my front door)

yeah, but why is that necessary

you can have 2 or 3 lanes circeling in 1 direction, yeah, saves you 10 sec, if you go in the other direction, but hell whatever Wink

dunno, but I guess two directions handles increased traffic flow better or something.

hey man, don't fucking ask me what these crazy ass brits are doing! Razz Laughing

but really, roundabouts, especially bi-directional roundabouts, are supposed to increase traffic flow compared to conventional intersections.

Quote:
Roundabouts had very positive effects on traffic flow. Average intersection delays during peak hours at the three sites were reduced by 83-93 percent. Traffic congestion, as measured by the vehicle-to-capacity ratio, was reduced by 58-84 percent. These results provide further evidence that roundabouts can improve traffic flow and that public support for roundabouts increases after they are in place.

They are better than intersections, you rarely have to do a full stop at a roundabout - AS LONG AS YOU SIGNAL WHERE THE FUCK YOU´RE GOING!

both men and woman in 40-50 is the worst. Some don't seem to care about anything :\

I mean, its so easy to tell another person where you are heading.. so you don't to stand and wait.

There is no point .. increased traffic flow? well what about foreign lorry drivers see that swindon roundabout... just aswell theres a hospital nearby.

Theres a new trend in the uk placing traffic lights on roundabouts!!..this f stupid idea actually increases congestion so the people familiar with the town avoid these areas.

True, If you can drive in sydney then you could probaly drive any where in the world. But there Taxi drivers are some of the worst drivers I've ever seen E.g Reversing down the Sydney harbour bridge in the wrong lane.
