i thought it was Acclaim that was dead, i havent heard about Midway dying.

That's right, is Acclaim who filed in for bankruptcy. Midway is actually doing pretty good - they have plans to open a new internal development studio in Austin, Texas. At the moment, they are recruiting talent for the new studio and plans to open it in the near future.

midway just bought up the unreal franchise from atari now that is saying something and i believe new mortal kombat will be out before xmas

MK has a november 2004 release date for XB and PS2 a Q1 2005 release date for GC -Scot00- Goodbye acclaim the only game company also to be a car.We will miss you..
