Didn't know whether this was more OS or App related, so I stuck it in here, hopefully the right place.

It took me hours upon hours of searching to figure this out, so if anyone else is having the issue of Firefox 2 installed in Vistax64 refusing to play embedded wmv streams, here is the answer:

Take the .dll's found in there and unzip them to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins and C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player .

(NOTE: Those are the generic directories. Obviously, if you're in Vistax64 it would be \ProgramFiles(x86) etc.)

These are official Microsoft .dlls so nothing illegal in there I hope Very Happy
Also included a txt file with the instructions as well.

I think it worked out of the box on Vista 32bit for me. So i think its 64bit related Wink

This shit is happening to me with Opera, I dunno about the compatibility of Firefox plugins with Opera.
