i've also tried to run the setup.exe as an administrator... guess what... no luck also ?!

wtf can be the problem ?

humm... odd... i cant even run the DX installation, or the adobe files in BOTH the releases... how strange is this ?

It reminds me of the "old" W32 trojan... but i've just looked for it... and nothing. Neutral

Any ideas ?

I installed on XP and works fine, can't say that's the reason as we have different computers but Vista is still new and theres still compatibility issues so it being vista could be valid also as seeing you tried both releases

im just looking around in general for this error (not just vista) and found this..but it's for XP but could help on vista mabye?

For me the Hatred release works fine on Vista. Maybe something is fucked up in the registry or Windows itself.

i7 3770k, GTX980, 16GB Ram, SSD Raid0, Internet 3rd world shit not worth mentioning
