I am well pissed off. I just got an account statement from my ISP saying I owe 4 months internet which comes to an outstanding balance of £160! I asked them to take direct debits from my account every month when I set up the account and it turns out that they havent been doing! If I missed the first payment, they could have at least notificed me! GRRRRRRR!
Usually one would notice a if an ISP debit isn't showing up on any of their statements.
I learned the hard way too tho. I had moved and the cable co didn't change my billing address and my bills were going to the old house but the cable was or yours. We got a 3 warning to pay one day outta the blue and were like WTF? Then we realized we couldn't think of a single payment we every made. We were on 3 month billing
"I've been told that you were meant to be paying your bill monthly by Credit Card. Unfortunately this wasn't conveyed when your account was set up, so the payments haven't been taken for the last four months. Is it ok if we take £80 rather than £40 for the next four months to cover this defecit or would you prefer the payments to be less over a larger period of time?
