Eh, I wouldn't bother, there are better FPS titles comin' up, don't bother with the current batch.
Personally I have:
Zelda
Metal Slug Anthology
Rayman Raving Rabbids
Wario Ware Smooth Moves
Red Steel
Zelda is definately worth the purchase, and if you're into the minigame thing Wario Ware is at it's best.
Otherwise you'd better hold out for some more releases.

I tried pretty much the entire lineup of wii games over the weekend and this is what my experience was;
Zelda is sadly not my thing, it felt long and I was not getting anywhere with the quests and things. Then again RPG and adventure are two of my most hated genres, so take it with a grain of salt.
Trauma Center SO is my personal favorite for single player on the Wii. Its so simple a premise but it so much fun and the tension is almost realistic. I loved the game and had a blast when I screwed up some of the operating sequences...
Rayman is a better multiplayer than Wii Sports because of its non-sports content, which my wife liked. We both played a whole 3 hours of that game.
Excite truck is definitely the best racing game on the wii. Its controls are intuitive and the sensitivity is just right and the game is a blast. Also tried NFS Carbon and the game is just plain bad.
Wii Play was just a overrated bunch of minigames, really nothing there worth your time.
Elelbits, Super Monket Ball are decent time fillers.
Sonic is a great game, much better than all the crappy ones recently released, works really well with the nintendo controller.
I didnt like any of the shooters on the wii. COD3 was the most decent and even that felt way behind its counterparts on the other consoles, the wiimote just doesnt work for me as a gun. Red Steela nd farcry were absolutely terrible, though Red Steel seemed to have potential.
You can pretty much ignore all the movie licenced crap, its just for quick marketing and kids.

so guys... is the wii worth it... I think I am gonna buy 1 for 100euro second hand and mod it. But I think the most games will feel like the ps2 eye toy wich I didnt like that much after 5mins.

Finally got my Wii Today. Was offered any wii game for £10 as well when I went to pick it up. It was a hard decision, Zelda or Excite Truck. In the end I went with Excite truck as im realy just looking for a pick up and play for 5 - 10 mins at a time sort of game right now... do you think I made the right choice?? I could never get into the Old Zelda games on the Nes / Snes, is this the same style as them or better??

Wii at the moment is a cheap gimmick with few good games and most of the top games seem to be coming from Nintendo in the near future rather from other developers.
Wii = GameCube.

Wii = GameCube + New control interface never done before. |
Fixed.
I think what is gimmiky about the Wii is the piss-poor ports that 3rd party devs are coming out with. On the positive side, at least they are behind the system..unlike with the gamecube. But yeah, the situation needs to be rectified. I think the new Sonic and SSX games are a start, with ground-up design for the wii, but there needs to be more of it.
