Resident Evil: Extinction

Quote:
Resident Evil: Extinction (formerly Resident Evil: Afterlife ) is the 2007 sequel to Resident Evil: Apocalypse. Resident Evil: Extinction is the third installment in a series of film adaptations based on the popular Capcom survival horror game series Resident Evil. The film is directed by Russell Mulcahy and produced by Paul Anderson. The film stars Milla Jovovich, Mike Epps, Ashanti Douglas, Ali Larter, Chris Egan, and Oded Fehr. The film will adapt several plot elements from Resident Evil: Code Veronica and will feature several new characters and creatures from the game series.

Details regarding production are top-secret but minor details have been revealed, "fans of the series will be pretty damn happy with a new boss monster that's going to rear its ugly head in the film". The film was originally intended to be released in the United States on September 7, 2007 but was pushed back to September 21, 2007.

+1

How can anyone think otherwise after that garbage Resident Evil: Apocalypse, or after seeing the trailer for this for that matter?

Thats true :/

The trailer of this one looked interesting and hopefully it will be alot better compared to Apocalypse, and hell with the Highlander director on this one then it might not be that bad Wink

sux that people keep ragging on anderson... the guy is a great director.

his problem is that he thinks he can write scripts as well... he cant, and thats where his films tend to turn to average pieces of crap... but his ability to direct is far superior to most directors working on major films these days.

Well I don't agree he's a great director but he's a decent one and not bad. Like you said it's his scripts. They're shit. He can't write. The best movie he directed was Event Horizon and he didn't write it.

I just watched the trailer and it looks so fucking cunting awful that I would rather have my dick sucked by a mouldy dog than watch that pile of shite.

Fuck me, its even made me want to watch that Nancy Drew film.

Nah, not at all. Take a look at Silent Hill, that was its downfall.

I loved Silent Hill, they captured the atmosphere of the games perfectly.
