Did anybody managed to install the Hatred release on Vista.
I am getting a weird crc error when the installation stops at 97% and the install program freezes.
Installed it fine on my XP , had the same problem stuck a 97% but after few min it ended with success .

Don`t get me wrong i can install it fine under xp and finished it under that os but when i tried to install it on my friends comp that has vista it just stops working ...

hmm will try to use CCleaner on his comp ...

I managed, on two machines. Bad download, I guess, and XP probably has lower sensitivity to disc errors.

Happened on XP for me also, I had to wait like 30 minutes for it to continue.

Same thing here in XP.
After waiting like 20-30 minutes I ejected the DVD then a new popup window appeared asking if I wanted to make a shortcut to desktop.
Game works fine, dunno why it hangs like that.

Now that's funny, I tried to install it on my uncles PC running Vista.
After 10-15 secs (I didn't remove disc from the drive) it complained about not being the correct disc in the drive.
I then clicked cancel and just copied the fixed exe to install dir.
Game worked. Smile

i copied the files to a new directory (when i press cancel the install program deletes the files) and then copied the crack and it worked on his PC
