Me I'm an RPG fan but i won't miss Stalker or bioshock. Considering there's more and more games out for consoles and ,from what some say, less and less PC games, and even in that aspect there's the fact that some genres sell better then most, no one's asking the players what they would like to play... so, what genre of games would you like to see more of?
I'd like to see military aviation sims start popping up more, like the did in the mid-late 90s.
I realize its a niche market but I think if a well funded developer got in there and really took the time to put one out on a nice engine with some professional voice overs, and a dynamic campaign and whatnot they could really rake in the dough. After all, you can always scale the realness of the flightmodel / arcadiness of it via options.
Other than that more RPGs from Bioware/Obsidian, they always got great stories.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

I used to be a huge fan of RPG's but their so linear now. Like Diablo II was bad ass on the net, the trading community was alot of fun then doing hell cows!! Sacred was alright but better than anything that's been being dished out. Titan Quest had potential but blah. Hellgate London is my last hope for anything with a hint of RPG in it. Legendary games are dead and they died when games started pushing GFX too hard.
I wish the old Black Isle guys reunited and made another kick ass rpg...
agree'd, sad thing is even if they did come back they would have to do something completely different as atari currently has the D&D rights. (does that mean they can't use the D&D universe or just can't use the D&D rules?)
RPG/adventure/fantasy, after playin mmo's for all these years i just got sick of it, really, every new mmo i tried i didnt like at all, but after playing morrowind, oblivion, fable TLC, dreamfall, broken sword (played BS since the first one came out on playstation), tunguska, runaway, etc.. i want to try out more great RPG/adventure/fantasy games, im done with the mmo's
games like silent hill, condemned, mafia, gta, motogp etc had a great influence on me aswell, but my main choice would be all the above, except i still have to see another mafia game thats worth releasing, after i finished mafia like 20 times im still in search for a better game like it because just cause, scarface, the godfather and made man were crap imo

anybody who buys the rights has them, the true owners are wizards of the coast, but im not certain if atari has the only rights or not.
fallout 3 rights are sold.
arcanum 2 maybe?
or something new alltogether?
maybe a RPG about a terraforming mission gone wrong!
More of games like this, though I don't think that the original idea and feel will be kept with the new asian team...
If the game ever gets released at all.
Reminds me of vampire bloodlines. When is it supposed to be out freudian?
