Dear Mr. Gates:
Please be advised of my intent to undertake various means to prohibit and stop the sale of the above XBox/Take-Two/Rockstar game to minors.
A recent report, available at [the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility] makes it abundantly clear that unless such prohibitions are in place, then millions of units of the new Grand Theft Auto game will be sold directly to minors. I am quite intent upon making sure that that does not happen. I and others will endeavor to stop Microsoft from participating in any fashion, directly or indirectly, in such sales to minors.
Please have your lawyers contact me in order that such sales will be prevented.
PLEASE GOVERN YOURSELF ACCORDINGLY.

When people compare newer sand box games, they compare to the gta3 --> , which by now have a really outdated engine. Even so the GTA-serie stand strong.
One more reason not to get a 360 - cant they let this crap die?
As to the protest.. Americans think nothing of sending minors to war zones,invading any country that they feel like and murdering its occupants, letting them eat Mc Donalds,teaching them its ok to own guns and shoot animals for fun,releasing a barrage of untalented actors and singers onto the world.. but when it comes to a game they all go fucking nuts about it - talk about double standards

Hehe I dont agree with that guy about the censorship, just that the game is very tired now. I tried the first two and could just not see what all the fuss is/was about.. maybe if i was a testosterone filled teenage boy i'd enjoy it. but quite honestly i thought it was ridiculous.. But then again if kids will keep buying this crap then you cannot blame them for churning it out month after month,year after year, decade afte decade.. bit like Rocky films

as you said each to their own, i personally enjoy the extreme over the top nature of the series. But as with everything in life , everyone has their own tastes
Hmm..I hope it means GTA4 will be including the natural motion tech. Still unclear tho, as all the statement says is in "future next gen" titles. So may or may not be in GTA4. Crossing my fingers, tho. Also crossing them for PC version with any moddability at all(I know I am dreaming here but personally, the GTA games only were fun when played on PC and especially with mods).
GTA is really one of the best game-series ever.. so I cannot wait for this!

Should be in USA. Would be cool-ish if it was in like Tokyo, but I want to understand what EVERY character is saying and don't want any cheesy asian-accent.

Also I´m feeling that europe will be up this time, especially after San Andreas where they managed to cover a huge part of the US. At least the west coast bigger cities and some waste lands.
Europe is really different in its various regions, as we all know, in looks, weather and how the land is set. So i think it would be pretty ideal for a game like GTA. Maybe it will be too big though, so they will go for just a city. Fingers crossed for Malmö.

Hehe jokes aside, russian mobs and Schwarzneggers would be great. Actually London might be good after all. They have alot of nationalities that would make for fun diversity in the game. Stereotypes ftw!
Any location apart from the US would seriously ruin it in my opinion. Take Midtown Madness 2 for example, driving around London was soooo boring compared to San Fransisco. However it would be cool if you can fly outside the US and visit another region, like the Bahamas, South America or Japan. Personally i'm hoping for a redneck GTA theme
Nah they've done the US to death now. Some variation would be nice, and europe has alot of that.
