I've formatted after some upgrades and I'm loathing reinstalling intervideo for my tv tuner card to watch TV. It hijacks just about every file association it can and its generally a giant pain in my ass in terms of playing videos off websites (i.e. you click a wmv, and even though firefox has been told to use wmp, and windows explorer shows the file association as wmp, it will pop up intervideo to try and play the file). It associates itself with all picture files, etc.
I just don't feel in the mood for going through and trying to repair all these file associations (and there is no uncheck box during installation). Anyone know a good alternative on windows? I can use TV time under linux, but i need something on windows.
