Hello everyboy Smile
after a long tale , which included a fried card, problems with warranty and a lot of bad luck, i got myself a new video card - X800GTO 256MB (no budget for something better cuz 6800GT on first run).

Well, the question , which is very important for me cause ive been burned before is this:

This card has a connector to the PSU , but unlike the previous card, which had a direct psu connection like this one (u could connect a cable like this directly to the card)
this card has a cable which splits into two separe connectors:

Am i supposed to connect two power connector from the PSU to the card? seems kinda ackward to me... thanks a lot in advance!

Looks like a normal PCIe power adapter cable. You use this when your power supply doesn't have the proper PCIe connector. And yes you will be safe with using it, just plug in both molex plugs and plug it into your video card and you'll be fine. With your bad luck I'd say you should consider what PSU you are using. If it is low quality, you are running the risk of having your rails spike and overvolting yer components. Even if(and especially if) you bought the computer as one from a big manufacturer, I'd say the chances of getting a shitty and unsafe PSU are pretty good.
