It seems there is a patch out. Is it applicable to your version of the game ?

EDIT: Big pictures make me act more retarded than usual. I see you mentioned updating in your post.

nothing between it working and not working. running most recent drivers as well.

i've had it for a couple weeks, just started doing this, so I tried updating, then re-installing. nothing. Sad

OK this is pissing me off. I'm not sure if this is a bug, or a new 'feature' of the game this year.

Basically, as I'm skating down the ice, the player with the puck keeps fucking stopping/restarting every few seconds. Basically even with the fastest player I can't get around anyone Neutral And there is no similar movement issue when the computer has the puck.

WTF? I'm using a logitech dual rumblepad, which works perfectly in any other game (using it now for TMNT, Flatout2, trackmania etc). I've also tried with a Saitek P880, and it does the same shit. Also, occasionally I get a graphics bug where all the players on the ice just turn around in circles and their heads look like they were cut off. Not sure if this is related to the other problem.

So WTF?

meh, fuck it... just seems like the calibration isn't perfect on the gamepad, so even the slightest bit of a diagonal move will make them stop.

fucking retarded fucking game.
