TDU has been running near enough flawlessly until recently, when I sat down to play having made no changes whatsoever since last time. I got this problem with my keyboard ingame, the best way to explain it is that the keys seem to freeze every now and then. They only freeze for a few seconds at most, but if i happen to be accelerating or turning at that moment, the key signal seems to get stuck which results in the car continuing to accelerate or turn wider than was intended. It gets weirder since any key I press during the freeze seems to get queued up, and when the freeze is over it executes them. So for example I take off from standing still, the engine rev hits red and i gear up, only nothing happens and i can even stop pressing the accelerate button. Since the key signal is frozen the engine hits the rev limit, then after a while shifts the gear to second.

Also weirder is that this anomaly seems to occur mostly around low speeds and gears and during tight and slow corners, but as soon as I get some speed the freezes either cease or are extremely discreet. It's not completely unplayable but it does mess up my starts (which sometimes are very important in multiplayer games), not to mention it's near impossible to complete a vehicle transport with the perfect bonus.

I've tried reinstalling the game, I've tried rebooting, I've tried unplugging the keyboard USB chord ingame (which did seem to solve it once, but didn't prove coherent since the bug sometimes disappears for no apparent reason, also it didn't stop the problem from returning). I also reinstalled my OS clean recently, and it's worth noting that this problem arose after many hours of TDU even after the reinstall. I have a PS/2 adapter and I haven't tried it yet. I suspect it will work, but only as a temporary solution as it's bothersome - my keyboard has an F-lock which doesn't work when it's plugged on PS/2, and without F-lock no F-keys work which means no ALT-F4, no F5 for update etc.

And for clarity. My keyboard is squeaky clean beneath so it's not keys getting stuck. The problem isn't limited to specific keys, it seems to be the entire keyboard. Also the mouse works fine so it can't be my USB ports or my motherboard. Shutting off all background programs didn't solve it. And the bug doesn't occur in any other game or application than TDU.

Oh and, I've used YASU to hide Daemon a long time and there haven't been any problems. Before I got this keyboard problem, YASU gave up on me for no reason and just froze my entire computer during activation. Only way out of it was reboot. I updated to latest YASU, and at first showed the same error but worked OK later and still does. After struggling with YASU for some time and finally starting up TDU, this keyboard problem came along. Maybe someone sees a connection here?

I hope my description wasn't too hard to follow Razz Any ideas?
