Far as im concerned it simple isnt worth it... Had a friend who installed it on his machine ended up reinstalling within a month. The common crashes and lack of support with X86s programs made it a living hell.

Well i had some real weird stuff, could not get the control panel working properly (starts and thinks and shuts down) so... will give it another try in the morn when I am thinking more clearly. Anyhow thanks "bogo24dk" like I said will try it out in the morn, I guess I can not get my head around the "Patheon" release at the mo, head is a bit like glue....Friday hey! Razz. Anyhow will give it a real push in the morn.

Avast works fine. What i need is a free but decent firewall for Vista (i.e. waiting a comodo update).

I made that too but retried another setup some weeks ago, this time without a RAID5 array, which was and still is malfunctionning under Vista because of the lamentable nvidia drivers, the recent k-lite 64-bit little codec pack fixed much of my videos troubles with media center 64-bit (avisplitter + mkv plugins). Thus now all work fine and i am happy with this setup, playing all my games & vids without problem, even with the currently indecent nvidia drivers (nforce4 SLI AMD & 7900GT).
