And I have NO knowledge on what's good or not.

Its crap as it only supports Analog signals... you want one that can pick up Digital signals.... I dont know where you live but in the UK and possible other countries Analog TV Signals are getting turned off and replaced with digital ones making this tuner useless...

I have an avermedia one and i am pleased with it, good drivers support (vista since its beta versions, linux, xp), windows media center compatible, works great from multiple TV sources, analog, DVB-T and cable here, etc. Others brands tried were über CRAP.
