came across this b4 from another forum and it looks like a great mod heres a youtube vid.
and heres a link to get it i havent downloaded it myself yet but its just been released on the 30th of march so no doubt its buggy but the maps look huge great for using aeroplanes etc

Its the same as Desert Combat for 1942. Its the father of BF2 if you want to call it that. However I don't find it to appealing. Played it a few times since the release and I'll stick to vanilla BF2 as always...
Project Reality was great until they decided to fuck up spawnpoints and made it require much more teamwork then you will ever experience on any public server. For serious matches on a LAN or with 20 friends its great. For public gaming it used to be fun now its just boring.
DCON is a good start to remake DC , i hope they listen to my suggestions to balance and fix the first release .
eve of destruction came out yesterday , in my opinion best mod on BF2 till forgotten hope is out .
Ill tell you why i hate BF2 and love EOD , BF2 your bullets fly all over except where you aim at , and you pump like a whole mag into someone and he still doesnt die , + ppl bunny jump and what not ... gets really lame and skilles...
EOD has great infantry fighting in the jungle with nightmaps/rain with realistic weapon handling , great atmosphere

yea.... i played PR one night and even deleted it right away , its more of a screwed up simulation then a game , whereis the fun ? you spend half your time dead or hiding , too much trouble getting kits or even trying to drive a vehicle , if you like cutting yourself , this is the mod for you .
played this mod b4 and i was after a mod with more tanks planes etc but this hasnt hardly got none this mod if for gamers who like bf2 for its shooting with no vechiles etc
in the meantime ill be waiting on forgotten hope 2 looks brilliant by far the best bf2 mod in the making
