When I play sims 2 for a while, it reboots my machine. Is anyone else having the same problem?

not me, i been playing it for about 20-30 mins now and no rebooting of the machine..

Not having the same problem. But the ventilator on the back of your PC.. Are you sure the heat gets away, because i had the same thing a while ago. My CPU was overheating Very Happy

I'm sure that the heat gets away because this is the only game I'm having problems with.

I had this problem, if you're using an ATI and 4.9, go back to version 4.8

It fixed my problem.

Also got the same problem. Using a GF5600 with Directx9.0c anyone got a
fix or something for this problem because I really want to play this game.

I wonder if the orginal version also will have the same error.
