Combining a gripping single player campaign and intense multiplayer modes with support for up to 16 players online, Lost Planet is an epic gaming masterpiece. Capcom will also partner with NVIDIA on their “The Way It’s Meant To Be Played” program to showcase the incredible gaming experience that consumers can expect with a PC equipped with the latest NVIDIA GeForce graphics processors.

unless your system costs twise the price of 360 if not more and there is practicaly no difference between pc and 360 version that i see, maybe some lightning and textures but all in all same game 6+ month late, still gonna play it on pc if they won't screw up controls like capcom usually does

Quote: | Last night, the game was being demonstrated on a machine equipped with a quad-core PC and an NVidia 8800GTX video card; there did not seem to be any major performance issues. |
how about testing it on a normal pc? and the 360 looks better from those screens. plus i played the 360 version at 1080i. amazing game it was.

+1 on your question. Quad-core and 8800GTX? Oh for fuck's sake. Like the regular gamer cares for performance on such a system.
Anyone out there ever heard of optimization, maybe?

There no reason why this game can't look and perform the same as the 360 version on a fairly high-end PC. While it looks good, and it has some great effects (explosions particularly) it doesn't look that good, not compared to Gear of War. Plus, the snow allows them to get away with alot less texturing outdoors.
Actually i'd go so far as to say that if the explosions lasted a bit longer they'd be the best explosions i've ever seen in a game.

I gather you're only referring to the PC version of RE4, because the console versions rocked. As corroborated by the vast majority of gamers.

+1 to that. The Gamecube version was outstanding. I was recommended to play it cause I wanted a good game and didnt think they woulda went with the whole new gameplay.
