burning avi files

I wanted to burn avi files as data onto a dvd with subs

it works, but the avi plays in a wrong dimension on my tv

dimensions of the avi file are: 464/352

How do I change that so the files play corect on tv?

are you playing through a standlone? I've burned numerous avi's as data and neve had an issue with any of them. can you be a little more specific?!

ok so its a standalone xvid/divx player then?! if so have you had any previous issues and what exactly do you mean by its playing in the wrong dimensions?

thats pretty low resolution even for tv, for psp it would've looked ok tho

TV resolution is 320x240, so that's fine for TVs.

Glad someone said that. i considered it but didnt want to seem awkward lol. especially since technically thats not really helping solve the problem lol Razz

if you go into your dvd player setup menu, you should be able to select the correct AR to display...
