Anyone go this year?

I got to play these games.

Aliens: Colonial Marines
It was multiplayer only with one team playing aliens and the other playing the marines. It was also only available on PC at the show but looked gorgeous and provided an idea of what the single player would be like minus the tension Im craving for!

Assassins Creed III
Played a single player demo on PS3 which was surprisingly good. Never been much of a fan of Assassins Creed but I liked the setting and it had some nice scripted action sequences. The combat also appealed and I would definitely be interested in playing the retail game. They also had a playable section with the naval battles which looks awesome.

Dishonored
Probably the biggest surprise of the show for me. Way better than I was expecting and a day one purchase for me. It was a single player demo on 360 but according to the developers there, the full game has no multiplayer anyway. Felt like a Thief game with a handful of Bioshock which is by no means a bad combination! I also got a free Dishonored t-shirt! Smile

DmC: Devil May Cry
Single player demo on 360. Looks very nice and plays well. I didnt play it for long though. Its still a game Id buy.

Doom 3: BFG Edition
I loved Doom 3 and played it through on PC. I was playing a single player demo on 360 and in 3D. The 3D was good but just a gimmick in my opinion. Apparently the game is being released at a budget price plus I can barely remember the original Doom 3 anyway so I would be more than eager to play it through again plus the BFG Edition includes brand new missions.

Far Cry 3
I loved this game! I played a single player demo on a high end PC and it looked gorgeous. Its another sandbox affair which means fun! Another day one purchase!

God of War: Ascension
There was both a single player demo and multiplayer demo available at the show. I played through the single player demo obviously on PS3. Very nice game with buckets of gore and the demo ended on a sequence which left me wanting more. Buying this one for sure when its released next year.

Hitman: Absolution
I was surprised how good this game looked. I played a single player demo on the 360. Ive always been a fan of the Hitman games and this is obviously the first one to make use of the current generation hardware and it really shows. With all the usual plethora of taking out the target which made all the Hitman games so great, I will be picking this one up for sure. I got a mini Hitman for playing the game too!

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
I played a single player demo which included a tutorial explaining the blade mode which allows you to sever anything and everything and then some of the single player demo which included one mission. Its a great looking game and slicing and dicing is hella fun!

Tomb Raider
Another gorgeous looking game which I cant wait to get my hands on next year. I played a single player demo which appeared to be possibly the first part of the game. The gameplay was more Uncharted I thought which is by no means a bad thing and they've really squeezed the hardware to get the best of the visuals!

The Wii U was there but it was a 2 hour queue and I didnt want to wait that long! I did see ZombiU which looked awesome and probably the only reason I would want a Wii U this year.

Im not great with impressions but added a few lines which I have to admit were a bit rushed as I dont have much time at the moment! Heading off to work momentarily! Smile

Heh indeed! I will be broke though after buying all the games I want lol. Ive given up on xbox 360 downloads thanks to XGD3! Sad

Well we told you to go RGH many times , just skip buying one game .. maybe two dunno how much RGH cost there and you are ready to go. Smile Yeah I remember telling us you can't find reliable modder but I think you didn't looked around as it should.. Razz

To be honest given the length of some games Im happy to rent which is pretty cheap for a week. The plus side is that you guys get the retail games before retail Smile
