I like the look of this game, it vaguely remides me of war of the world.

http://www.petroglyphgames.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6182 remember Petroglyph being parts of ol' Westwood? nice discussion there imo.

but my favorite is the last sentence:

So that's that. Done, spent, fini. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to get back to making U@W a franchise that kicks major ass.

Well...not exactly that unique Very Happy
There was that polish game - Polanie (it's the name of the first native polish tribe), where u trained cows to give milk. They ate grass, then came back for milking. Just like a harvester and a refinery Laughing

However u didnt harvest cows Sad

So, I like how Petroglyph has upgraded from just having an "Empire at War," to having an entire "Universe at War."

Also, for people looking for a second opinion: I think the game is pretty fantastic, from what I played in the demo.

Correcting people since 2007 even if they're not wrong.

Aside from a tutorial level you won't get to play the humans, it's already been confirmed by the developers.
Anyway this game feels very mediocre when you've just spent the past 2 hours playing Supreme Commander, but if you like CnC3 you'll most likely enjoy this title.

I loved C&C, probably the best RTS game since AoE II (and imo WiC and Call for Heroes are just overrated eyecandy only bullshit, but they have a different style than C&C and Aoe II, so I let it be...and fanboys, please don't scream at me, because it's just my opinion, and nobody cares for it (or yours) anyway Razz)...but i really liked UaW demo, the flexibility of those Walkers is great, you can use one of them as your building machine, and the other two for blowing up enemies (or you can just build your army, and then turn the third Walker to a destroyer too, your choise Smile )...the concept is good, interesting units, and i really like the harvesting system, you can practically "eat" everything Laughing ...graphics are nice too...but I didn't exactly get one part: these white nano-dudes whom you have to fight...are they created by humans, or are they aliens...because like I understood it, there are several factions in this game who want to claim Earth for themselves, so if the nanos are aliens, why the fuck are they helping humans? Oh and btw, finally there's a game, where we can destroy that piece of shit planet we live on Very Happy Very Happy
