This is taken from my bud over at the official forums and I'll be updating it as he goes so all credit goes to Naish

Missing/Unsupported Resolutions
1400x900 (16:10) 19 inch W-LCD Native Resolution
1280x1024 (5:4) 17/19inch LCD Native Resolution
1680x1050 (16:10) 20.1/20/22 inch W-LCD Native Resolution

Controls cannot be remapped

Game starts in 1280x720 resolution, some monitors don't support this and may crash. Solution : Allow the game to start(by default)in windowed mode or in a standard 4:3 resolution.

DirectX9 04/2007 and latest DirectX10 runtime files will need to be shipped with the game.

Will not install on XP 64-bit, even in compat mode- Steam will install it properly if you download from there.

Doesn't seem to be a command line option to run the benchmark (useful for editors to automate marking).

DirectX9 runtime files can be found on Microsoft's website.

Forceware 160.03 drivers seem to fix a lot of issues (out of memory, freezing, crashing among others) and improve performance on Nvidia hardware (XP and Vista):

The installer will not run on Windows XP Pro 64-bit Edition or Windows 2000
workaround: download the demo via Steam and it will run fine.

If you double click on the demo icon and nothing happens (or you get what looks like a dialog box referencing obscure memory errors), it could be due to an older CPU that doesn't support SSE2 (specifically an older Duron or Athlon CPU). Unsure at this time if SSE2 instruction set is required in the final game.
