Right, so I bought the excellent game DoD some weeks ago and only recently started to play it. It's a great game, but there is ONE thing about it (which proberbly is the same in CS too) - why the hell do I keep finding servers that has 10-15 players on with, as said, 10-15 players and all of them are spectators? I guess they are mods or something (?) but surely there has to be a way to see if people are actually playing on the servers and not just hang around as spectators. I just checked 5 servers for action and all of them had just people spectating. Very frustrating as it does take awhile to load the maps only to find out that nobody is playing. Is there anyway to check the servers in advance to see if people are playing or just spectating?

in steam browser, right click somewhere near the top, u should get a popup menu much like in windows, where u can select "bots"... put a check to it, and it will show u server where there are bots on... otherwise, right click on the actual server and select "view" etc... it will show u who's playing on that server... -1ms ping = bot

dod was fun back when it was still free Smile

have fun, if you get it to work and actually find a server... steam's spammed with 80% bots tho... good luck Smile
