Hey guys! I'm flying to Brussels tomorrow morning and i'm staying there until saturday before I travel to Tintigny. Can anyone point me to some nice pubs/discos in Brussels? My hotel is 500m away from Grand Place and I always prefer cheap transportation like subway or train. Thanks in advance

i do not know in what kind of your music you are into but here is some selection of things i visit from time to time. i do not live in brussels. in fact i live in ghent. (the nicest city of belgium) http://www.fuse.be/: one of the greatest techno clubs of europe http://www.mirano.be/: if you want to score a pretty woman but i would definately give ghent also some attention 'cause it's only a 30min ride with train or car (60km) here are my places to be in ghent ... http://www.cultureclub.be/: you should know this club cause it's an extremely well known club in belgium http://www.make-up-club.be/: this is a new club in ghent since latest new year's eve. the club has a great potential and will definately be the place to be for the coming 2 years. the cub to visit this weekend imo. check the interior picture and you will definately know which girls will be there enjoy your time in belgium

Not far away from the Grand Place, search for a bar named Délirium! They serves a lot of various beers, and at night there's always some fine women Anyway, enjoy your stay in my superb capital EDIT: There is a another club, not far away from the Grand Place (5 minutes if you are walking slowly ) : the You "Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life." ~Berthold Auerbach

I love your capital, it's my third trip to Brussels but this time i'm going to try the night life. manu_xl it will be impossible this time to visit Genth since Saturday i'm heading South, in the direction of Luxembourg (I'm staying in Bellefontaine from Saturday to Monday) but I'll visit Virton, that's for sure. Last time I was there I found this great Italian Restaurant! I'll write down your suggestions! What about a cool and not so expensive place to have dinner in Brussels?

I suggest you to avoid eating on or around the Grand Place, it's overpriced and often shitty (exception made of certain specialities, but it will cost you ). You should find something on the "Boulevard Lemonnier". On this blvd is a VERY NICE sandwitchery (sp?), "Le Suisse". "Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life." ~Berthold Auerbach

ehehe cool I got to buy a city guide once I arrive. I would suspect everything being overpriced around the Grand Place, last time I had a meal at one of those greek restaurants, it was ok and cheap but I'm not much into Shoarma Thx for the hint, Z0Bman!

That would be a little far, yeah. I want to stay inside Brussels. My sister told me about "Bolsa"? Something regarding an area of pubs and clubs in Brussels. You know it?

leishar i think your sister means the Brussels Stock Exchange neighbourhood with 'Bolsa'. in fact there are some great things overthere by night. as ive said before, im not really familiar with brussels besides some clubs so i cant tell you more. once i have been there with colleagues for an afterwork party and i can tell you that it is a very expensive neigbourhood. but also very nice of course! you have all kind of restaurants overthere from sushi to french kitchen to whatever

I had a great night in brussels! ended up in You disco. it was ok, but i learned later that on fridays is full of younger people. Still everyone was quite friendly! im near Virton now... manu_xl my sister also told me about Ghent so next time i´ll go there.

dude, don't be so ignorant. Its a great country. A liberal country with little rasism etc. Its legal with whores, they pay taxes and are aids free, more serious about it. And about the drugs. Its only pot that is legal.

Saw a great documentary about the netherlands, Sex, drugs and democracy. And both swedish, norwegian, dutch, danish...and probably more - are from German.

And id say danish sounds more 'special'

...Sweden is just as fucked up with as the only country in europe that allows sex between siblings :\
