i dont understand the thing with i
nterlaced video
um I was wondering what this means.
please tell me ... some movies are nuked beacuse of that ... does this have a effect if i want the movie on my tv ?
please answer ...

Uuh, too long subject to tell. Just go and google about how technically tv and video images are made. Its so wide subject...and complex.

If your watching an interlaced movie through a TV then it should be fine afaik, its only on computer that the problem shows.

Interlaced with a few words means this:
A single frame on the tv of a movie or video or video game has many horizontal lines that combined make a picture, so sometimes when you want to save rendering time or want to make the frame bigger or something got fucked up, you can insert (interlace) between each horizontal line a blank one or render the 1,3,5,... etc horizontal line and leave the 2,4,6 blank/unrendered.
So the movie picture is not so clear and you can slightly notice the missing or unrendered horizontal lines.
