I hear a wave type noise every 5-10 seconds..throughout the program. Never stops. Is this a bad release/crack?

no,

Trying replacing your cabling, adjusting the buffer length and checking weather Wav vol is low on your cards mixer , and the amp on whatever your monitoring on is not high.

The noise is not coming from FL.

Same exact happens on seperate pc, totally different setup. No cables are connected. Using onboard sound. I messed with settings, disabled about every option preselected and nothing. Ill re-install it and try checking buffer length and wave. Odd how it would happen on 2 pc's after install. You dont need to be touching anything - wave sound happens like every 10 seconds on own.

Have u triggered off a synth or sample without "cut itself" set ?.

It works perfect here, ive been using FL since 1.0, over 8 years now.

You can download the trial from Tucows or elsewhere, providing same version, and just apply the reg file included in the PopUp release.

All it's doing is writing a very simple name and serial too the registry.

If your using onboard sound, you still got leads going to your speakers right ?

I would not expect FL to preform very well at all under onboard sound, it could very well be a incompatibility with the ASIO driver that FL uses.

If you want to use FL, you least need to invest in some sort of sound card at absolute miniumum. It be worth your time.

It happens if I pick any of the samples. For instance - 'Toxin'. I goto Channel>open>Toxin. Wave soud happens. Maybe the samples are bad? If I download trial, I suspect it wont include the samples like Toxin. Im downloading trial now..Ill let you know how it goes. Thanks for your help!

Toxin is a synthesizer .Razz You sure your not just playing the raw waveform ?, it would sound like white noise or it would be tonal. ?

Unless you want to shape/design your own sounds, you would need to use the included presets

All plugs are included in the trial, it's dependant on which reg key you use.

Read up a little, 10 mins of time, will save your 10000000's hours of suffering.

Very Happy

all the best.

Smile

Have to take back my words. I came across the noise you were talking about myself.

From what i can gather it's a bug related to the Toxic synth.

It (toxic) is not worth using anyway, much better using 3rd party VSTI's from ReFx, Native Instrumrements e.t.c.

Reason is cool, but self-contained and unable to utitlise 3rd party plug's, but it's plus's are that it's super-stable.

Cheers.

I didn't bother installing any of the FL plugs. I normally use all 3rd party - just like the sequencer.

this release comes with demo versions of the VSTi (toxic, sytrus, etc). what you are hearing is the limitation of demo synths. what it does is throw a batch of noise at your sound output every few seconds to prevent you from getting anywhere with it. you can basically test it, pay for it, find a cracked version or get another synth Smile

hope this helps you in the search for the perfect sound!
