Backing up Firefox Passwords etc

Im planning on formatting my system but I have alot of passwords saved in Firefox for lots of sites and I dont want to loose them. Is it possible to back them up?

I found some software called MozBackup, does this work?? Dont want to use it, format and find out it did fook all Razz hehe

C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox

back up that folder and you're favs, passwords and stuff will be saved. After format, install FF and paste that folder into that search path.

Replace "USER" with the windows username...
