Hi again,
I'm having a very bad week console wise .... So I bought a Japanese Wii today, got home, now it didn't come with a step down converter so I didn't think it needed one, boy was I wrong .... I did make one good decision and hadn't plugged the power into the Wii yet ... But I heard the fuse blow on the Ac adapter and the safety swith knocked off all my Electric at the Fuse box .....
If I needed a Step down converter, why the fuck didn't they give me one with the Wii ??
and I know Thailand has a different power output then Japan but I didn't need a step down converter with my Japanese 360, but then again I did need one with my Jap Ps2 ...
Anyway are the fuses in the Ac adapters easy to fix and repair, I don't really want to travel to the shop where I got it cos it's far away .... Can't just a normal electrician be able to fix it for really cheap ??? Or should I go and change it, if I can that is, I can see them blaming me for it

If you're lucky, all that has been toasted is the power supply. An electrician should be able to fix that.. or you could just replace it. You should try to test the Wii out first at a friend's place or a game shop to see if it was damaged as well.

open it up and replace the fuse, it may or may not have damaged some other components in the PSU. With luck not

The Wii isn't affected as I hadn't even connected it to the Wii yet .... It's only the power supply, I just wanted to know if fixing the power supply was an easy job, cos I don't really want to travel a long distance to change the power supply if getting it fixed was a very easy job
