I'm having this really anoing problem.
When I have mounted sims 2 cd1 in alcohol 120% and started the installation everything works fine until I have to change cd.
I mount the next cd and press ok. Then everything start lagging and I have to shut down my computer with the power button.
I have checked in the process bar and I have a process called "System" there at 0% when I am on the first cd. and the "System Idle process" is on 90+%. but when I change cd the "System" process goes up to 99% and thats were it start lagging. I have never had that process before untill sims 2 told me to install directx 9c.
And the first time I tried to install I came to the change to cd4 window but now I am only coming to the cd2 change.
It would be nice with some answers

I'm running a P4 2Ghz, WinXP Home Edition SP1. 512MB SDRAM
and I have the latest version of alcohol 120%

Try Daemon. It might just be me, but for virtual CD emulation I prefer Daemon to all cause it has never really failed.

Or create 4 virtual cd-drives, mount all images and then start the installation. I know some games don't like that, Doom 3 refused to install for me untill I monted the images one by one during the installation. But its worth a try.

What do you mean by "mount images" What files am I looking for? And I should create 4 diffrent drives so I have to extract each .rar.. correct? Then what. (there are a ton of them)
