Need For Speed: Pro Street

Quote:
In the 11th installment of the Need for Speed series, EA shifts gears into a new direction, thrusting the player to compete head to head against the best street racers in a multitude of racing showdowns.

Compete at the highest level of street racing with Need for Speed™ ProStreet. It's no longer good enough to simply rule your local neighbourhood you need to dominate on a global stage. Build the ultimate battle machine, take it to multi-disciplinary showdowns and pit your skills and reputation against the world's best street racers. This is your chance to prove that you have what it takes to be crowned the next street king.

Need for Speed ProStreet is your ultimate taste of the chaos and unbridled adrenaline of street racing. Pushing yourself and your car to the edge can lead to mistakes and this time those mistakes have consequences. Think swirling fields of debris, shredded fiberglass and heinously twisted metal. Every dent, every scratch and every crumpled body panel is a battle scar, proof of your commitment and competitive mettle.

Compete on some of the world's most iconic racing locations - Shuto Expressway, the Autobahn and the Nevada desert. The atmosphere is electric - complete with energetic crowds, photo-realistic cars and billowing smoke - all designed to embody the pressure and intensity of the gladiatorial challenge known as Show Down. Need for Speed ProStreet is the realisation of the raw power, visceral aggression and intense rivalry that embodies street racing culture.

Most likely some scripted crap when you crash or whatever. I seriously doubt that this game will be anymore than mediocre. Ever since EA started turning NFS into shit (U1 and everything after) by turning it into another sports franchise and spewing out one game each year...

31.05.2007 is probably when they will show some ingame footage on their website. And it will probably have some real time damage, its about freaking time, always wanted to crash those expensive MB and porsches, and i really hope those cinematic crashes are not in the game or can be turned off, they get pretty annoying after a while (motostorm).

You go play it yourself, i dont want those outdated graphics. Carbon Graphics+Real time damage=sweet. I still play flatout and burnout because i love to crash those cars, but its better to crash licensed, expensive cars.

it always had damage in the game ... it was just not activated on racers because the car companies didn't want it. Their lame excuse was that it was not considered good marketing ...

I wonder how much money EA paid them to finallllllly put damage in the game.

NFS: Porsche was one of the best (if not the best) racing game ever IMO.

Underground 1+2, Most Wanted, Carbon... They are all the same shit.

Hope they fix the gameplay in this one and make it more playable, more fun. But I wont get my expectations too high...

Lets see..

A homemade short-film (It's a dramatical experimental videoclip-style short, has nothing to do with games!):

to say one's is better than the other, U2 is like U1 1.5.
