I used to suffer badly from nosebleeds. I even had to have it cauterised. Not suffered from them for years now.
How old are you Surfer? 18ish or 19ish?

I'm 21, I used to have them when I was younger but stopped during my teens, now they're back but it's different.. short but more frequent nosebleeds. I think it might have to do with the supplements I take.. you said you don't have them anymore, did you do anything or they just went away naturally?

That's when they put this thing that looks like a huge matchstick up your nose and it's got potassium on the end of it to burn the vein closed. But looking on the bright side they do put liquid cocain up your snoze first.

Nah nothing to worry about it. Just takes a few mins. I used to have heavy nosebleeds. Really heavy, I mean it didn't drip it poured. I went though a full toilet roll in about a minute one day so I went to the hospital and after that I just got light nosebleeds. About a year later I'd not had one since. Until some arsehole punched me in the face in a taxi queue. But that nosebleed was just a one off.

I'm gonna partially stop taking the supps to see what happens.. this started last summer after taking omega-3 supps for a while which are know to thin blood. The other supps I take also have other fatty acids in the ingredient list and the label even says to stop taking them if I plan on having surgery bla bla bla...
@Jenni
That nosebleed must've been scary.. the worse I've ever had was years ago and lasted 1/2 hour, dripping only. I think my nose is my weak point:P bleeding from an arm or leg doesn't bother me at all but from the nose I hate it.
