urgh..

Squirrely: Now come on y'all. We can't waste time arguing. There could still be survivors out there. We need to hunt them down, and kill them.
Beary: How about we kill them, and then rape their bodies so we can use their blood as lubricant.

I suppose there's no way it'll run on XP right? I know there's a big ugly vista icon on the cover, but can't hurt asking.

The patch updated the "InstallFolder\MonsterGame\Content\LocalShaderCache-PC-D3D-SM3.upk" file and the exe file from what I saw, can't run the game though since I get the usual securom module error now wich means the copy protection was updated so that newer versions of tools such as Yasu will be needed in order to run the game with the patch.

Unreal logo during the patch installation appeared as well, seems the game uses Unreal Engine 3.

Will try with the original exe file instead since the patch only seems to affect the above shader file wich probably means improved Shader Model 3.0 performance or similar.

EDIT: Installation didn't copy over the movies either so that will probably be required when a crack arrives.

EDIT2: Game works with the original exe but since my card only supports the early Shader Model 2.0 version and not Shader Model 2.0b I can't really run the game, could test it on the other computer since it uses a 7800 but it's being used atm so that will have to wait untill later.
(Should be obvious since the requirements list FX cards as incompatible.)

EDIT3: Wich is the same as RoboBlitz and Vegas whom both use U3 engine but require SM 2.0b or 3.0 wich is the recommended version.

I played the 360 demo and it didn't really seem like much fun. I'm sure it'll be better in multiplayer though.

For those of you who have wired xbox360 controllers, go ahead and plug em in, then play versus with your friends. Very Happy

I've played against three of my friends for an hour now with four wired 360 controlls on my tv (dvi cable).

This rocks, great mindless fun.

Your video card isn't supported. You need a video card that has SM 3.0

So any geforce 6, 7 or 8 series or any ATI 1xxx series card.
