I've been thinkin' of changing my big case to a better one with fans and a side panel window..

i've been lookin' throu Thermaltake and seen this one,but i was wondering if the side panel window can be opened without removing the screws...and if my Intel 975XBX would fit in.

Anyways, what pc Case/Towers do you have?..got an screenshot?...and if it's Side Panel windowed (to see the inside),can you open the window to check stuff instead of removing the whole panel?

thanks in advance

hhmmm Which thermaltake one have you been looking at??

I have the Thermaltake Soprano in Black and its nice.

You dont need to unscrew the side pannel, just leave the thumb screws out and use the catches on the side near the windows to unclip it... Smile

That's the 1 i was lookin' for =3

Tell me,does it has front and back fans installed already?..are they noisy?..and can i remove the crystal panel's fan so i can put my Thermaltake BigTyph 120 VX (whatever) in?..my side case's bee panel holes thingy is smaller than the BigTyph 120VX's huge fan ^^;;...

is there a 12Cm side cased fan hole so my TT BT120VX fit in correctly?

You can remove the side fan but unfortunatly their is no 12cm fan holes on the side case (only holes for the 90mm fan).

The front and back 12cm fans come installed already and just need connected up.

The fans are nice and silent. I only get a low sounding hummmmmmmmmm from my case / setup but I think this is my PSU's fans as the PSU is cheap..

Oh yea, you can lock the front of the case as well with a Key so no one can turn the PC on etc and you can lock the side so no one can run off with your graphics card while at a lan party Razz

Overall I think its a great case and its amazing how much dust the dust filters collect in a short period of time!!! The filters dont keep all the dust out but it keeps most of it out.

heres the specs of it -

Get the 900. Not just 1 120 fan slot, but FIVE of 'em. Or you can just use two and keep it nice and quiet. Up to you, super silent or super cool for your precious parts. I can't hype the case enough.

Yeah, 900 is very good option. Or go for the stacker 830 and buy the extra 4 120mm for the side blowing Very Happy

*shrugs* if your concerned about price, put it all inside a cardboard box. if your concerned with style to go with the thousands youll spend on good components, you want something that looks goooooooooood Wink

Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case seems nice. Had I known more about it I would have gone for it, mainly for the cooling.

Instead, I got this case:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811144128

My first case for a first time builder. Fits my GTS with room to spare and a GTX if I want to ever upgrade, plus has removable drive cages. Temps are low but not as low as the 900 probably wouldve given me. Smile Still, the Apevia X-Pleasure is worth checking out. Smile

That makes mounting things a little hard etc, would rather pay £40 on a good looking case than fiddle around with making a cardboard one Wink

Exactly, £40 gets you a great looking case with great cooling Smile

I am looking at this case atm http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811129017

Anybody with any experience? the only thing holding me of is that it looks like its rather cramped as it seems it could be hard to fit my 1950pro into it without it touching my hard drives. But according to reviews its silent and thats whats most important to me.

That P180 looks kinda nice...

If the front was a little transparent with the blackish style... It would be the case for my next upgrade.

I placed an order for the p180, looking forward to a silent machine next week.
Anyone know the difference between the Performance one series and the regular? i ordered the performance version, there was only about one euro difference but i could not find any info on the difference if there even is one.

Not enough for my actual components (975XBX Intel MoBo,3GB DDR2 RAM Kingston,ThermalTake Big Typh VX120,nVidia EN7900GT 256MB PCI-E + ZALMAN Cooler VC700 (whatever))

I think the latest rig i put,the huge 25cm double fan,is good enough,i think, since it's huge and could fit all, plus the 2 or 3 fans would remove as much heat as possible..it needs AIR,NOT HOT!

Would that rig fit my MoBo in thou?...

i kno' my ATX Intel Mobo (said before) will fit in,but the thing is if the TTake's Big Typh will have space to take the hot air and throw it outside from the big holes, instead of a little hole against the BIG typh...
