Quote:
Theatre of War 2 covers the events of 1943 in Tunisia, North Africa. Recovering from their losses after the crushing defeat and subsequent retreat after the Second Battle of El-Alamein, the German Afrika Korps - reinforced and now supported by the Italian Army - prepare once more to put steel against steel with the Allies. The Axis forces, under the command of the legendary General Erwin Rommel, have an all too brief opportunity to seize victory from the clutches of their earlier failures. Players will lead Rommel’s Afrika Korps in their last full-scale military campaign and command the English and American armies as they try to push the Axis forces out of Africa once and for all.

The stage is set, it's time again to enter the Theatre of War!

What (a hell) happened with releasing this?

There is even a PATCH 1.1.0 that was released few weeks ago...

Huh? You can download the game at the same site, no?

edit: ah you mean a "Release", sorry. A bit slow today. Very Happy

Squirrely: Now come on y'all. We can't waste time arguing. There could still be survivors out there. We need to hunt them down, and kill them.
Beary: How about we kill them, and then rape their bodies so we can use their blood as lubricant.

Theatre of War 2 Africa 1943-SKIDROW

Is this game any good? I'm watching this:

And it looks very similar to World in Conflict in gameplay, interface and controls... I loved WiC, so maybe I should give this a try too.

I guess the game is better than the mediocre 6.8 given but that's just a guess as i haven't played the game.Graphics are very good.First one wasn't bad.

I just wish Battlefront would make a proper combat mission with the same gfx engine. Shock Force was a major letdown compared to the old ones.

Theatre Of War 1 was also a letdown...it's multiplayer was a total disaster :/

shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

Never liked ToW, CM was ok, didn't like the inf Smile

Im a Close Combat junki and still its the best game when it comes to realism imo.

This Order of War looks interesting tho!

Will it have MP? And will it focus on realism?

BTW have a look at this, this looks fucking promising! I just hope they fix the ranges etc to realistic ones and this could be great!

I played many years in Close Combat and Combat Mission all parts. I can say: this game is amazing. Definitely worth buy.

Sounds are great (i love artillery barrage). Finally infantry is useful. Player can ambush enemy tanks sitting in houses. There are some glitches like: soldier firing M1 Garand to enemy who is 600 meters far from him (i think, that's to far to be effective).

Comparing to previous TOW there's big step ahead. Great game for every strategy games fan.

Yes i have them all Smile

I play in a CC"clan/community", so its easy to hock up to play.

CC really excels in MP! Cant compare human vs human with human vs AI Smile

Ok game reminds me of Africa corps, what makes it horrible is stupid behavior , IE command a jeep to go a route to ditch an enemy and pow it does the opposite , games like these never compare to the C&C series.....
