I got banned b4, like on my first or second post here...I forgot why.

You guys keep some kind of a ban log? Although that log would probably be few terabytes large, any chance I can find out? Cool

IpwnU, there are a string of reasons. Including posting insensitve videos, continuously spamming (making us mods do work), and flaming all the time.

The way I see it from my eye's; the flaming gets out of control, creates an environment that should be kept to IRC or another communication means. It makes the board feel like an in-bred community (in a sense). There are more users on this board than a select hand-full that choose to act in this way.

I personally feel directing certain comments such as "Mr X youre such a faggot" is a direct approach; I hardly would say that in a sociable environment in real life; and if I did im sure it would make me unpopular; so why should it be different here?

Regarding the offensive posts, it's a very etchey line; I myself sometimes consider posts a freedom of speech comments however other posts are offensive and are either removed/edited or the user temp/perm banned. It's depends in which context they're written + if they've been spotted amongst the moderators; if theyre not the ol' report button can highlight an issue.

This is my own views; I tend to treat people how they treat me. Smile
