I really hope there will be an extended Directors Cut, the movie was missing quite a few plot endings...
But it's still another great movie from Michael Mann, definitely getting this in DVD.

The dvdrip quality is good.
But why do i get the feeling that the movie feels.. uh, i dont know, incomplete?
Editing feels sloppy, the scenes gets cut often, and at very random timings.. I dunno, felt weird when i watched it..
Watercooled 5950X | AORUS Master X570 | Asus RTX 3090 TUF Gaming OC | 64Gb RAM | 1Tb 970 Evo Plus + 2Tb 660p | etc etc

They also didn't finish all of the story lines, at least that's what I thought.
For example they Spoiler: | talk about the leak that has to be inside the FBI, but they never actually do anything about it. |

It's still a great movie to watch, very entertaining if you like films like Ronin, Heat (etc).

Spoiler: | Because they're not in a position to do that? Their job is not to patch a leak in the FBI, that's for somebody else to do, they're there to go undercover and infiltrate the drug lord's operation - they already do much more than they were supposed to.
Not everything needs to be solved by the protagonists of a movie, keeping such things as the leak out of the main plot makes the movie more believable in my opinion - it's there, they can do nothing about it, they just have to deal with it - just like they can't catch the big boss, only his underling. I'm a bit sick of big Hollywood movies in which the hero(es) magically solve(s) every problem alone, after all they're not superheroes, just cops. |

Ok, but why not just mention that another department has taken over that case? It's really not a big mistake, but this just adds up to this "chopped" feeling...
But I still really liked, hope there are some good extras on the DVD

What a piece of shit of an excuse to a movie. Worse than a 2 hours long episode of Lost.
But the soundtrack is nice.

Well, if you've matured in your film watching preference, then you will like it a lot more.
