doesn't say if the audience is american or what
just running non-news and reality shit and whoring out to the government and corporations and cancelling all shows of any merit should do
but i kinda doubt it's that realistic

Judging by the clips that were shown it seemed to show British TV clips.
The game is on the newsgroups now but it's in French so I couldn't like to say.
Maybe they've targeted audiences.

I don't get it... I mean, the trailer got me excited, but as soon as I was in the game my jaw dropped with disappointment and disgust.
You can't build your own TV station ground up.
You don't make your schedule ground up, it's already made for you at the start.
You can't make ANY changes to the program and movies until you have an Archivist and some other person, and when you ask the secretary to put up ads for those, you get replies that nobody responded. Oh really? And what I'm supposed to do? Sit around?
Uninstalled within the first half hour.

Well I might just be missunderstanding you here, but yes you can make your own schedule. It's only the 1st week that is pre-done. You don't have to hire someone to take care of that for you if you don't want to. However I do agree, it's silly really, cause you can't hire anyone anyway as you never get anyone that is interested in the position it seems. What is a bit of a shame with the schedule is that it's only for evening, you can't show anything during the days?
Not sure what you mean about changing programs and movies. You can buy and sell both series and movies in town. You can also create your own shows with politics, sports, news and so on. And with enough money you can build another building so you can produce your own series and movies.
Some things are a bit dissapointing with the game. Like with the fact you can't build your own station from scratch, ofcourse you can extend it however. Another thing I wish it had is when you buy a licnence for a series, that you can order a certain amount of episodes, and that you can have seasons. Now it says there are 12 eps, after you have shown a few it again states none is brodcasted and you have 12 again that hasn't been shown. Not sure how that is going to work with your own productions however.
I think it's a decent game, but it won't last that long. It's just too thin, good idea but it could need some more work to make it a bigger, better and deeper game with more options.
