i have problem with protection...
the game launch time the first time but if i quit and i relauch he doesn't work !
i have to resinstall the game.... and it works one time !!

I have similar issues, although someone here said to try the latest sptd beta software from daemon and that fixes it. Also, Maud said that running the *latest* YASU helped. Good luck.

Also, it seems if when the disc check fails you cancel and then try to launch it right away again sometimes it works...

None of it worked for me, a single time. I'll just wait for the crack I think. Doing all this based on chance seems like a waste of time.

will not start at all.

The worst part is --- the friggin disc check pretty much locks my computer it's insane. In task manager it makes system use 98-100% CPU not to mention it takes forever to start or fail whichever it decides to do.

Hmm, Star Force always did that, nothing new there, hopefully this one will get cracked soon, tbh I think a crack will appear any time now, SF4 aint as effective as 3.7 etc..

I don't doubt that -- I never played any games using 3.7 though. I played a few other games using the newer star force and had no issues. This is the only time it's been this bad.

Same here. Tried everything and, being an IT student, I am pretty sure I know what I'm doing. Newest DT (4.09HE), newest SPTD driver, Yasu, nothing works. No idea. Will play it on my XBOX360, I know that it runs there. And smoothly, too.

Dont need yasu at all. Try unmount and then mount, for me it works. And i tried all option on and all option off in daemon tools, no difference.

Doubt it lol, all codemasters games show a FADE warning at the front of the manual, and yet don't have it included, I doubt this game has it, just a though implementation of SF4,

worked for me by the first time with an old regedit trick (there are 2regedit tricks only one of these works) but don't ask me for the trick don't giving it away

No need for that, at least for me. Just latest DT 4.091 + SPTD 1.49. Mount & Play.
If you get an error "insert disc in to the drive" just re-mount the image.

And I think that Yasu is useless here as DiRT is starforce and not safedisk or securom (that's what Yasu is cloaking). THX again for your help.
