It's a difference in generations. You're looking at the NEW gen of tall and pretty girls NOW but those old grannies lived in different times and when they were around 50 bad fatty food, no fruits or vegetables (often due to poorness) made walking barrels out of 'em.
The eating habbits of the old people are climate-dependant. Their own grandparents ate lots of butter, bread, potatoes, sausages etc all roasted with fat and lard because the climate was harsh and you had to keep warm. So they continued to eat like that ignoring the new age, the new century.
It will take time to form a 'new' old generation that'll WANT to be healthy, eat vegetables etc. But first they'll have to be able to afford it.

The first 2 pictures something is off with their waists, they don't have one. The one on the left in white has a huge gut. But if they are really in the army I am sure they have more important things to think about.

Hahah don't I know it. Didn't you guys have the same uniform as the Egyptians or was it the Syrians. I read a book once and this guy jumped into a foxhole and he didn't realise it was the enemy until he started talking. Because they were in a confined place he couldn't use his weapon. So he had to beat him to death with his helmet.

as far as I know, the syrian and egyptian armies have cammo uniforms...
Anyway nice story, I never heard of it.
